Striving for Safer Communities

Our Mission

Safer Steps was created with one aim in mind, enhancing community safety by providing high quality training packages to those working with people who pose risk to people in our communities.

Founded by Adam Dolby and Michaela Woodley, with over 25 years of experience working in the Criminal Justice System and working with people who commit offences, Safer Steps takes from a wealth of experience and provides tailored training packages, consultations and digital products for training staff. Our focus is to support voluntary sector organisations and companies with training in what we know works in risk management. Safer Steps operates and is designed under the notion that "risk is everyone's business", and seeks to promote multi-agency working, our understanding of risk, working with complex mental health, personality disorders and people engaging with the justice system, and what steps we can take to reduce harm to potential victims, the community and staff.

Our services are available to all, with costs kept to a minimum to make the service available to as many people as possible.
